| Pecan or Cherry Tassies
½ cup unsalted butter
1 3 oz. Package cream cheese softened
1 cup flour
Blend butter and cheese in a mixer. Add flour and
mix. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for one hour. Roll
dough into w inch balls and place in mini muffin cups.
Press dough up against sides.
Pecan Filling
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. Softened butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
½ cups coarsely chopped pecans
pinch of salt
In a small bowl combine egg, butter, salt, brown
sugar and vanilla. Spoon 1 tsp. Of the pecans into each.
Fill with egg mixture. Bake a@325 for 25 minutes or
until filling is set. Cool and remove from pans.
