Montreal Chicken Roulades
 with Rice


Chicken and Leek Soup


Wilted Spinach Salad with Polenta


Sour Cream Pound Cake

2 sticks butter
2 ½ cups sugar
6 large eggs
½ tsp. Baking soda
3 cups flour
8 oz. Sour cream

Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. In a large mixer beat butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, soda, and sour cream. Continue to beat 2-3 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until knife test clean. Cool in pan for1/2 hour and carefully slide knife around edges to loosen.Invert and remove form pan. Cool Completely. Frost with a glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Variation: Almond Poppy seed Cake: Add 2 Tbsp. Poppyseeds and 1 tsp. Almond extract.
